Q. I've been researching my ancestors in the Fredericksburg Texas area for some time. I obviously have limited access because most of my research is done online. I have found them in the 1880 census, then again in 1900 in Mason, Texas. What other records should I be looking for other than the typical census, or church records? I currently am registered with familysearch, their new pilot search engine, genealogy. and use all other forums & databases. I am not a Ancestry subscriber because when I've done searches, I come up with the same results I get in the other search engines.
